Jerin joins your party after you save her life in the North Tower. Without her, you cannot beat the game because she is the only one that can get you to Elfrea, where you meet Artea. (Artea was one the original fighters who fought the evil Sinistrals.) She also has a thing for the Hero, but Lufia won't let Jerin get close to him. She is an ok fighter but does use magic. Her magic isn't as strong as Lufia's but stronger than the Hero's magic. When fighting enemies, use her magic. Or when there is a group of alike enemies, use her bow to inflict damage on the entire group of enemies.
